Dell PowerEdge Servers slowed by Bios CPU Profiles in Hyper-V and VMWare

Recently a problem has been highlighted with many Dell PowerEdge Servers from generation 12 to the most recent ones having performance issues when investigating the performance of the CPU. In a Hypervisor model, these issues can clearly be seen, with some applications which take an average about 1 minute and 20 seconds to perform a task, now taking over 15 minutes to perform the same task.

So after investigation into the BIOS settings I found out that a Power per Watt was set in the Profile. This was causing severe performance issues on the virtualisation platform. However after applying the following settings in the bios, this increased performance by nearly 100%.
