Maintaining customer relationships is important

Having the ability to carry out tasks within a team is important, but without the team integration and showing lack of communication shows how bad a relationship with a customer can be to the extent that it can completely ruin a relationship.

Now, it is important to maintain a healthy relationship and build up a good level of trust between parties. With my weekly adventures of going to different companies, I show how to maintain a good relationship by providing morning update, weekly updates, effective verbal and non-verbal communication and working as part of the team.

 This has given me the opportunity to fix relationships between businesses. Acting as a technical mediator between the customer and the supplier, within days I have moved the customer from their view of a “last chance saloon” view to a proactive customer focused relationship whereby I deliver what the customer requires.

 I have received great feedback from the communication I use in many different types of businesses and will endeavour to continue to use these methods to show that it is important that the customer knows and understands the work to be carried out.

 Anyone delivering technical projects within a company should understand these principals and follow them so the relationship is maintained.
